Example to follow: John proclaimed what he had experienced about the word of God by hearing, seeing, looking into and touching it personally. V 1- 3
Knowledge: God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. V 5
Command: I must live by the truth so that I can have fellowship with God. V6, 7
Promise: As I recognize and confess my sins, God is faithful and just to forgive me and cleanse me. V 9, 10
Prayer: Thank you Lord for the wonderful fellowship you desire and have with me as I walk in the light of your word, help me to keep recognizing and confessing my sins to You as I continue to live by the truth.
