Sin to avoid: The city drown the people away with sexual sins, even kings were not left out of this! Merchants made themselves rich from this. V 2 – 3
Command: We God’s people should come out of all this so that we would not share in her sins! V 4
Knowledge: No matter how good and appealing sinning may look now, the consequences are always very grievous, bringing about God’s wrath resulting in shame. V 6 – 20
Prayer: Lord help me to be focused on you always and not get carried away the sinful distractions that are so prevalent today! Help to not only come out but to stand for you all the days of my life.
