Example to avoid: Even though the people felt the effect of God’s wrath, they refused to repent and glorify God instead they cursed Him. V 8 – 11
Command to obey: Jesus would come like a thief (unannounced), so I must stay awake keeping my clothes with me so that when he comes I won’t go naked, shamefully exposed. V 15
Prayer: Lord continue to give me a heart that will always turn to you in true repentance and glorify you. Help me to always live prepared for your coming.
