Jonah 1 22nd September 2014 The men prayed to God for mercy and threw Jonah over board and the storm stopped, the men stood there in awe of God and sacrificed to Him and vowed to serve Him. V 13-`16. Even in the midst of Jonah's hide and seek with God, the sailors encountered the God of the Lands and seas, the Almighty and they committed their lives to serve Him. Prayer: Lord let my life be an embodiment of you so that even in my weakness, failures and disobedience, people will see you through me and commit their lives to serve you.
